WarDek Light only collects data necessary to provide the service: email address, name (optional), scanned website URLs, scan results, and IP address for rate limiting. We do not collect any sensitive data.
2. Use of data
Your data is used exclusively to: provide the security scanning service, manage your account, send security alerts (if subscribed), and improve the service. We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Legal basis for processing
In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, data processing by WarDek Light relies on the following legal bases: — Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b): to provide the scanning service, manage your account and subscriptions. — Consent (Art. 6.1.a): for non-essential cookies (if applicable) and marketing communications. — Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): for service security, abuse prevention and service improvement. — Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c): for billing data retention.
4. Hosting and security
Your data is hosted in France on secure servers (Hostinger International Ltd). Connections are encrypted (TLS). Passwords are hashed with modern algorithms. Backups are encrypted.
5. Cookies
WarDek Light only uses essential cookies for the service to function (authentication, session). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, and object to the processing of your data. You can delete your account from the settings. Contact: contact@wardek.io.
7. Data retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Scan results are retained for 12 months. After deletion, all data is erased within 30 days.
